Part I: Intro to
this letter;
For a long time I
wanted to write a letter and tell a bit how I look at the
present and past situation. Now this time has come to
finally write it. It will be short in nature because I do
not have the time and the material to write a complete book
around this subject.
In this intro I would
like to ask you the next question; Israeli governmental
figures, do you think that the USA is very important to the
so called roadmap to peace? Do you?
Let me bring under your attention the latest visit of
General Powell (from the State Department of the USA as you
know), how many did die during his visit due to attacks?
Yes, I am listening, I
don't hear you.... Oh you say there was one killed, some
motorist or so. Yes, I know, but how many did you expect
to die on this particular visit?
Again, I don't hear you. Sorry I don't hear you (may be I am
deaf from all those bomb blasts, speak louder
please!).
Now, I still hear nothing. Well let me tell you my own
estimate. I expected on average 7 deaths just from the
visiting of Powell with a standard deviation of 2 or
3.
Back to my original
question around the relevance of the USA government, in case
the Holy President of the USA would ask for a few days of
silence who would listen? Who would listen?
So this is my gift for
you, there is a truce right now so please do not spoil it
because my patience is not infinite. And the counterside of
this gift is some deterrent I asked for at the so called
'global dogs'. This means that if you go too far from the
roadmap that you will meet some big dogs in some desert, but
please do not take this roadmap too literate (see part III
for this).

Part II: Why do I
like the mid east conflict&why do I like Israel?
Lets start with the
last question, why do I like Israel? A lot of reasons, let
me name a few. The first is some cold analytical kind of
liking because I am very interested how a people recover in
the long run from that what is know as the holocaust. Yes,
this is very interesting and as you might have found out by
now it is not a question of how bad it was but only if you
are capable of recovering. So I look with interest at the
developments in this.
Another reason might
sound a bit strange but to me it counts, I like the
mathematical work of Israel Gohberg. I never read much of
him, but that finding of some '2-state' solution towards the
equation Y' = AY was very beautiful. But we do not spoil the
fun with all these technical details.
And you must not think
that I like you because you have nukes. This is a much to
negative approach to me, better take a positive look at it;
Who knows what true love can do? Who knows?
Now why I like this
conflict? There is a very simple answer; it is the hate
there is. Sorry if I do not sound very 'political correct'
right now, but I just love that big big burning hate.
For myself speaking, I can hate with great enthusiasm too.
And mostly I can turn my hate into some kind of art or some
other stuff and go on with life, but that is exactly the
point where you fail. Both parties are a bit lost in hate,
and don't get me wrong; I just like the hate, but I do not
like the suffering emerging from this hate.
More to say why I like
this conflict, I truly think this can stop. I do not have
much objective reasons or facts for this, it is just a
feeling not based on any research whatsoever. And may be it
is wise not to forget that long before this so called
'roadmap' was born I spoke already of some little wish of me
of creating some real Palestine state.
So Israel, think a bit of the economical development of this
new neighbor of you. And let me inform you I like speed with
a capital S.
And when I ask the Hamas & company some exponential
growth in the length of truce and so, I have the right to
ask you the same on behalf of economical and tax matters. In
poetic speech; You will feed the Palestines well and even
give them enough 'Rice fields' to harvest year in year out.
And you will do as you are told.

Part III: Some
cheap behavior
This can be a short
part, I just name two examples of behavior that I just do
not understand completely. The first example is:
The truce was only a
few days 'on the road' and suddenly some mosque had to be
demolished. I don't even know the city anymore, may be
Jerusalem may be somewhere else, but in the past this mosque
was 'legal' and the latest years this mosque was
'illegal'.
To me this was a clear
example of so called cheap behavior, very cheap to try the
truce out into directly breaking down a mosque. Let me be
very clear on this subject, this kind of jokes are simply
not acceptable because there was no immediate hurry to do
this kind of demolishing. All I can say is, watch out
because this works as some red flag on this bull, just watch
out.
But there is more
cheap behavior observed; About the release of those many
thousand Palestine prisoners I can be short too. The fact
that the release of prisoners is not on the White House
roadmap is not relevant to me. That is all I would like to
say on that, it is not relevant to me.
Only the word 'deterrent' needs to be mentioned while
whispered that this is not some silly busload or so. So do
your work on this, I can understand you cannot let go all
and at the same time, but I expect real progress on this
behalf.
So saying that
something is not on the White House roadmap is classified as
cheap behavior, again let me ask you 'How relevant is the
White House in this?' They can make fundamental
contributions, but that is all the words says. Some
fundament can be laid out, but that's it. They have some
problems themselves you know.

Part IV: What else
to say?
Yes what else to say?
To much may be, and therefore I could bring it all together
in the next words: Get used to the fact that you are into a
completely different situation right now. Try to adopt to
the characteristics of this new situation, you know your
ways in Washington so use those ways but don't forget that
it is me who decides what is relevant and what not.
That is all I have to
say, I hope it was diplomatic enough and therefore relevant
enough. Before we split I would like to bring to your
attention again the so called 'One Million demon' (a
symbolism to all deaths of the economical sanctions in
Iraq). Read story nr
53 and try to indulge in some 'revisionist history' like
asking yourself 'What does the existence of the state of
Israel have to do with this One Million demon?'
And now we split,
sincerely yours, representative of the War Tribunal,
Reinko Venema.
